Here's today's recap!

English 8

In period five, we finished up chapter 10. In both classes, we had a work day. Please remember that aside from the reading check-ins, you can make up any work marked missing from the second quarter. Please get this done as soon as possible.

English 9 and 9 Honors

Today, we read through the Hindu creation myth. Vishnu is sleeping on the back of a giant cobra in a vast ocean in the nothingness. A lotus flower comes out of his navel, and Brahma is inside. Vishnu directs Brahma to create the world. Brahma breaks the lotus flower into three pieces to make the heavens, the earth, and the sky. He then creates life.

English 9 only

We also began to go through the notes packet. We got partway through the Yoruba myth. Please continue to work on this independently, as you may be given a pop quiz at some point.
