Today was our unit test day for quarter 1. As a reminder, all work must be completed and submitted no later than tomorrow: Friday, November 13, 2020. The grade book closes tomorrow, and quarter 1 ends, so get everything in! Good luck!

Hi, kiddos! Very important information here for all classes:

THE UNIT TESTS FOR ALL CLASSES HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THURSDAY, 11/12/2020.

This will give you all some extra time to study, and will also give us time to have after school review sessions!

Open Notes

All tests will also be open notes. This means that I'll be more strict about grading, and there will be no retakes since you'll have all of the information you'll need available to you.

Review Sessions

The 8th grade Greek mythology review will be tomorrow (Tuesday 11/10) from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The 9th grade short story and literary device review will be tomorrow (Tuesday 11/10) from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you would like one-on-one review, contact me ASAP for an appointment on Wednesday 11/11.

Final Projects

Stories must be submitted before next Tuesday's test.

Today we watched some fun videos about Jason and the Argonauts, the Chimera, and the Hydra! None of these will be on your test, but it was a fun way to take a break from the reading while still learning about Greek mythology!
