English 8

Today we had our first independent reading check-in for the second quarter (which is due on Tuesday next week, and there will not be a reading check-in next Friday because of the Thanksgiving holiday). We also took the spelling test for the spelling bee.

Today we read "The Mouse, the Bird, and the Sausage" and "Cat and Mouse in Partnership," and we discussed some of the more odd aspects of fairy tales. If you haven't finished the assignment on the importance of fairy tales, please do so by the end of the day today!
