We went through the thesis statements for the symbolism and foreshadowing paragraphs of your Lottery essay today, and we got some good work done! Please try to finish any missing work for "The Lottery" as soon as you're able to. During class, we went through the regents rubric and chose partners/groups for peer editing later on in the week. For a bonus point, at the request of one particular student, send me an email with a short (fewer than 5 sentences) "essay" about chicken nuggets that would earn you a 0 on the regents exam before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. 🙂
